The Japan Rubber Manufacturers Association (hereinafter, “We”) have designed the following Privacy Policy to secure the safe use of our official website (hereinafter, the “Site”).
Purpose of the Collection and the Use of Acquired Personal Information
We collect your personal information at the time of your inquiry to us, purchasing of our publications and application for our events such as a lecture meeting. In any case, the information shall be voluntarily provided to us. We will not use your personal information beyond the purposes originally indicated to you without prior consent.
Disclosing Information to Third parties
We will not provide the acquired information to any third parties except for the following cases.
- The case when your consent is obtained.
- The case when we judge that it is appropriate for your inquiry to be answered or dealt with by other organizations or individuals.
- The case when it is deemed necessary to disclose your personal information to outsourcees with which we conclude Non-Disclosure Agreement in order to fulfill the purpose of collecting the information.
- The case when it is deemed necessary to disclose your personal information to financial institutions for your payment of our publications or other paid services.
- The case when we disclose information in a form your personal information cannot be identified (e.g.statistical data).
- The case when disclosure to third parties is permitted by law.
When we provide or outsource personal information to third parties, we will have a thorough consideration in selecting outsourcees and will supervise them to ensure that the information is protected and managed in such an appropriate manner as we do.
Deletion of Personal Information
We delete personal information after a certain period of time when the purpose of its use is met and we judge that the information is no longer necessary. We will not respond to any request for disclosing or modifying the deleted personal information.
Collection of Non-personal Information and Its Purpose of Use
Although we might collect information that is not identifiable to you personally (e.g. access record of the pages belonging to this site), we will not use the information except for the purpose of gathering data for site operation and investigation of unauthorized access.
Reference and Correction of Personal Information
Upon receiving your request to refer to or correct your own personal information in our possession, we will promptly respond to it. We ask for your kind cooperation in case we need to verify your identity in order to prevent improper acquisition and falsification by third parties.
